Based on our listen, the following aspects of Jenna Fox’s release are outstanding. We want to see her keep building on these strengths… (STAR IN THE MAKING)
Performance:
Energy
We thought Jenna’s track had rousing energy that moved us as listeners. Jenna’s sound is confident in her musical skills and the parts she is playing.
Our Screening Team heard aspects of these well-known artists in Jenna’s release:
Lady GaGa
Madonna
Melissa Etheridge
Sade
We also See Influences in her music:
Daft Punk, Gorillaz, The Prodigy, Justice, Air and DJ Tiesto
Calvin Harris, Basement Jaxx, Justice, The Prodigy, and BT
Christian Wolf, Earle Brown, John Tilbury, Steve Reich and Toshi Ichiyanagi
Gil Scott-Heron, Big Poppa E, Craig Arnold, Derrick Brown, Jamie DeWolf and Staceyann Chin
Miscellaneous:
Unique
We rarely tag a release as unique, so we felt Jenna Fox should be proud. We hear stuff going on here that sounds fresh and isn't common. Jenna clearly has a vision and she’s started to realize it and it shows in her recordings. Keep up the good work, Jenna we are routing for you.
